Final Broadcast Ratings: August 14, 2017

The season premiere of BACHELOR IN PARADISE, leda ABC to a strong win ion the Monday night ratings. The dating reality series collected 5.1 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in Adults 18-49. That is up from last year's 4.6 million viewers and a 1.4 demo rating.  A new episode of THE GONG SHOW followed, losing roughly half of its lead in audiences.

NBC was a close second on the night, drawing more total viewers than ABC and tying them in the A25-54 demographic. AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR is down, slightly from last week's ratings, losing 300,000 total viewers and a tenth of a point in both the A18-34 and A18-49 demos. MIDNIGHT TEXAS remained flat, week-to-week.

Fort FOX, a two hour SO YOU THIUNK YOU CAN DANCE is not better then an all-encore CBS, between 8 and 10 PM. The CBS Comedies equalled SYTYCD in the younger demos, and beat it in the older A25-54 demo and in total viewers. For CBS, the CBS NEWS: ON ASSIGNMENT drug down the average on the night.
